Union Benefits. The name says it all.

 

Established in 1983 by union trust funds, Union Benefits is a leading administrator of multi-employer pension, health benefit, vacation pay, supplementary unemployment benefit and productivity bonus plans. Union Benefits is Canada’s only third-party administration company owned and built by the union trust funds we work for sponsored by the many multi-employer union Locals we serve in the construction and theatrical trades.

 

Each of the trust fund “owners” holds shares in Union Benefits, and as a result, we operate on an “at cost” basis. This means that our services are provided first and foremost with Members and trust funds interests in mind. Union Benefits has long considered itself a family – among our employees and clients. With a focus on providing excellent service to our owners/clients, we act based on fairness, honesty and integrity.

 

As a client-owned organization, Union Benefits is a professionally managed administration company committed to providing the highest levels of administration and benefit consulting services in the industry.  Operating from our Waterloo Head Office and Halifax Service Centre, we have a dedicated team of professional administration and benefits consulting experts focused on providing our clients with the best possible service at the lowest possible cost.
